Our adventure at the Seville European Film Festival couldn’t have been better. One week before the festival had even started, “La Roca” was the first film to sell out. Near 1,000 people watched our work and word of mouth raised interest in the press. “La Roca” has been featured in more than 60 articles, tv and radio specials. The icing on the cake was to win the Golden Giraldillo Award for Best European Documentary, with a 15,000€-incentive for theatrical distribution.

Our crew is still flabbergasted and we can only express again and again our gratitude to the audience for this enthusiastic welcome. This Award belongs to the people of La Linea and Gibraltar. We are working hard every day to make it possible for more people to watch this film… In Spain, in Gibraltar, in Europe, in the world. This story MUST be told.

La guinda al pastel fue ganar el Giraldillo de Oro al Mejor Documental Europeo, con un premio de 15.000€ como incentivo para su distribución cinematográfica.
